About Tjeerd
A horse in motion, not just on paper.
Tjeerd is the family's chocolate stallion — a Rocky Mountain Horse in the breed's signature dark coat with pale flax mane and tail. He is triple-registered (RMHA, KMSHA, AGMH), mannered in cross-ties, easy on the farrier, and carries the natural four-beat amble that makes the breed such an unhurried ride. Stallion behaviour has never been an issue in our barn. With the closure, the family will place him to a home that wants him as a pleasure stallion or as a quiet sire on a smaller breeding program. He will be gelded at the new owner's request before he leaves the property.
